Visa processing pause does not apply to J-1, F-1, or other non-immigrant visas.

Last Update

Visa processing pause does not apply to J-1, F-1, or other non-immigrant visas.
Recent reports about a pause on visa processing for 75 countries is limited to immigrant visa categories only and does not impact J-1 visas or other cultural exchange program visas. This has been verified with the U.S. Department of State, including Consular Affairs.

Stage Global is sharing this update to reassure our participants that program-related visas remain unaffected.
