During your intake meeting, we’ll learn more about your background, goals, and internship preferences. We’ll also explain the Stage-Global process and answer any questions you may have. Following the intake meeting, we’ll let you know whether we can proceed with your application based on your qualifications and placement preferences. At this stage, you can also decide whether you’d like to move forward with the program.
To officially register, you’ll sign the Program Agreement and pay a $500 deposit, which will be credited toward your total program fee once your internship placement is secured.
We review your documents (CV, transcripts, passport) and prepare you for interviews with potential host companies.
You’ll be assigned a Stage-Global Placement Coordinator who will be your primary contact throughout the placement process. We will start with a coaching session to ensure you’re fully prepared. Your coordinator will update you on new opportunities and is available for any placement enquiries.
We identify suitable internship opportunities, coordinate interviews, and support your selection process through offer acceptance.
Once a host organization confirms and you accept the position, Stage-Global finalizes the internship contract and collects required documents. Upon placement confirmation is when the remaining program fee is charged.
We provide you with all the pre-departure materials, arrangement of your housing, insurance and arrival instructions to ensure a smooth transition to your destination.
Stage-Global will arrange your airport pickup and organize an arrival event. Throughout your internship, Stage-Global provides ongoing communication, compliance support, monthly events, networking opportunities, and assistance with any program-related questions.

No, our internship programs in Amsterdam are available to English-speaking participants. Language requirements will be clearly communicated before you accept an internship opportunity.
The program is open to university students and recent graduates who meet the requirements of their chosen internship and the applicable visa or immigration regulations. Eligibility may vary depending on your nationality, academic background, internship duration, and program type. Stage-Global will review your individual circumstances during the application process.
Every application is reviewed individually. Before any program fees are charged, we conduct a free eligibility assessment and discuss your qualifications during an intake meeting. This allows you to understand whether you qualify and what the next steps will be.
Visa requirements depend on your nationality, the length of your internship, and your individual circumstances. Non-EU participants may require a visa or other authorization to complete an internship in the Netherlands, while EU citizens may pursue internships for up to 6 months without a visa. Stage-Global will provide guidance on the applicable immigration process based on your situation.

Participants must be open to unpaid internship opportunities. However, some host organizations may offer a stipend of approximately €250–€600 per month, depending on the company and internship opportunity.
Internship schedules are flexible and can range from a minimum of 16 hours per week up to 40 hours per week, depending on your host organization and internship placement. Your expected weekly schedule will be discussed and agreed upon with your host organization.
Health and accident insurance is included in the Stage-Global internship programs in Amsterdam.

Stage-Global provides emergency contact information before your departure. If an emergency occurs during your program, contact us as soon as possible so we can assist you and, if necessary, coordinate with your host organization and insurance provider.
