An architecture firm based in New York City is seeking a motivated individual to support operations. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional architectural environment, working on a diverse range of residential, commercial, and interior design projects. The role offers the chance to develop technical skills while contributing to creative and practical architectural solutions.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Assist the design team in the development of drawings and resolving technical design challenges.
• Analyze technical specifications for materials, systems, and project requirements.
• Support experienced architects and learn from them whilst contributing to various projects.
• Prepare and process necessary documentation for projects and orders.
• Produce architectural drawings semi-independently using AutoCAD and other design software.

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree and/or relevant work experience.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of design softwares, such as AutoCAD and Rivet.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Keen eye for accuracy and detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills whilst working on multiple designs and projects.
