A growing consulting company, located in San Diego has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and analytical individual to support client engagements and internal business initiatives. The firm helps organizations identify opportunities, optimize processes, develop strategic solutions, and improve overall business performance. This role provides hands-on experience in research, data analysis, project coordination, and client deliverables. The trainee will work alongside experienced consultants on a variety of business projects.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Support research on industries, markets, and competitors for client projects.
• Assist with collecting and analyzing data to identify key business insights.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and client materials, and help monitor project timelines, deliverables, and tasks to ensure projects stay on track.
• Participate in client meetings, document key takeaways and next steps, and collaborate with consultants on business improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
• Support internal projects related to strategy, operations, and business development.

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree and/or relevant work experience.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
• Strong interest in consulting, business strategy, economics and problem-solving.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret information and identify key insights.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
