A tour operator in Mauritius is seeking a driven individual to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and refining comprehensive financial reporting frameworks to support strategic decision-making and track overall business performance.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Extract, interpret, and analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making.
• Identify key trends in costs and revenues, providing insights to improve profitability and operations.
• Develop and maintain detailed financial reports and dashboards for management review.
• Support the creation of budgeting and forecasting tools to improve financial planning accuracy.
• Monitor financial performance against targets and highlight variances with clear explanations.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled as a student.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
• Strong interest or experience in finance and analytics.
• Ability to interpret and work with financial data to generate insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, formulas, pivot tables); Power BI is an advantage.
