An established language education provider in New York is seeking a motivated and organized intern to support its growing team in the area of human resources and recruitment. The ideal candidate will assist with talent acquisition, candidate communication, employee coordination, and recruitment processes. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in HR operations, recruitment strategies, and employee engagement within an international education environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Support recruitment processes, including candidate sourcing, screening, and interview coordination.
• Communicate with applicants and assist throughout the hiring process.
• Maintain candidate records and support HR documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding activities and employee-related processes.
• Assist with developing recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support staffing needs and HR initiatives.
• Help improve employee experience and engagement activities.

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree and/or relevant work experience.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
• Understanding of recruitment practices and interest in HR development.
• Ability to communicate professionally with candidates and team members.
• Very good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize daily tasks.
• Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a diverse workplace environment.
