An exciting opportunity is available at a Resort & Spa in Key Largo, Florida for an individual interested in gaining practical experience in hospitality. The intern will work alongside the front desk and resort team and develop an understanding of guest relations, daily hotel operations, and the overall guest experience. This position provides hands-on exposure to a luxury resort environment and helps you build valuable customer service, communication, and operational skills.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Assist guests with check-in, check-out, and general requests, supporting daily front desk and guest service activities.
• Communicate with areas across the hotel including housekeeping, dining, spa, and other resort teams to ensure timely coordination.
• Provide guests with information about resort amenities, activities, and local attractions while assisting with reservations, inquiries, and service requests.
• Maintain accurate guest records and internal reports.
• Help address guest concerns and support a positive guest experience while handling general administrative duties and assisting the team as required.

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree and/or relevant work experience.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English, Spanish is a plus.
• Interest in hospitality, tourism, hotels, or the guest services industry.
• Good understanding of basic business and service processes, with a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational and time-management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
• Professional, friendly, and service-oriented approach when interacting with guests.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced, and guest-focused environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
