Description:

A food manufacturing company in Mauritius is seeking an organized individual to join their team. The ideal candidate will support daily quality control and food science management activities while gaining hands-on experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring and maintaining quality standards and compliance with established procedures.
• Conduct inspections to ensure adherence to good housekeeping and hygiene practices.
• Verify raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Contribute to sampling management, including collection, preparation, labeling, and storage of samples.
• Support laboratory management activities, including equipment cleaning, verification, calibration, and basic maintenance.
• Prepare client reports and quality documentation related to the Quality Management System.
• Follow up on nonconformities and customer complaints and support corrective action implementation.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled as a student.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
• Experience or interest in quality management or food sciences.
• Dynamic, detail-conscious and well organized.
• Willing to learn and grow with the team.
• Capable of displaying a high level of confidentiality and ability to take initiative.
