A tour operator in Mauritius has an exciting opportunity for a detail-focused intern to join their team. The ideal candidate will conduct financial and performance analysis to optimize revenue, improve pricing strategies, and identify cost-efficiency opportunities.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and EBITDA performance to assess overall business profitability.
• Conduct research and use outcomes to recommend pricing adjustments for products and yield management strategies.
• Propose cost-control solutions to optimize company profitability.
• Develop clear, actionable insights from financial data to support sales and business growth strategies.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and performance summaries.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled as a student.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
• Experience or interest in finance and accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, formulas, and basic modeling).
• Ability to interpret data and translate it into clear business insights.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
